THE IMAGE OF MY CO-AUTHOR FOR WHICH HE IS MOST FAMOUS--OR INFAMOUS.

Not long after I encountered my co-author for the first time, I realized that his soul had divided into multiple aspects, and that the two most powerful aspects were at war with each other. Fortunately they have been able to come to peace. I was also informed that looking at the eyes was the way to tell who was expressing through the body at the time.
On the left is Dead. Dead is the personality who was usually present when photographs were taken. None of the personalities enjoyed having pictures taken. I have learned that Dead was a protector personality who became corrupted due to his psychological wounds and the anger that being the one to hold some very painful memories caused. As the protector personality, he'd be pushed forward even when the threat was relatively minor, such as discomfort over having photographs taken. Even if Dead smiles, his eyes give him away. His eyes will never smile.
Dead is not evil. He is psychologically disturbed and very angry. He isn't somebody to mess with. But he has told me in so many words "that guy who everybody thought I was--he didn't exist. He was a disguise which got put on. He was never real."
It should come as no surprise that Dead is the personality who killed their body.
Pelle is the personality who was expressing through the body in the photo on the right. Not long after I contacted their soul, he rather insistently revealed himself as being a separate individual from Dead. He was rarely photographed, but when he was, the smile reached his eyes. He is warm, nurturing and playful, although he is also very serious about responsibility. He is what is usually referred to as a host personality in a dissociative soul. Although he is aware that there was trauma that caused the soul that he is a part of to divide, he has no memory of it. Dead was the one to bear the pain in order to protect the other parts of the soul.
While both personalities are given to sarcasm and not bashful about using salty language, Dead is extremely snarky and will never hold back on voicing his opinions about what he perceives as stupidity. I feel honored that he decided that he likes me.
